2020 B Floral Bouquets

Although 2020 brought so much fear and uncertainty, it definitely brought some of the most beautiful bouquets. We were so fortunate to have a few small weddings that kept us going and creating. Here are some of them. Let me know which is your favorite!

I will never forget this bouquet or this sweet, sweet couple. I delivered this bouquet to their planner Tabitha Roberts of Roberts & Co. with a bandana wrapped around my face and rubber gloves on my hands. It was the week of the shut down. Karen and Justin’s wedding venue just closed to all outside events. The entire team was scrambling and trying to make something great out of such a heartbreaking situation. Love conquered all and this lovely couple got married in a ceremony for a few instead of the original 150. They were able to get some beautiful photos surrounded by cherry blossoms. This micro wedding took place at the Spanish Steps in DC and was captured so beautifully by Alicia Lacey Photography. Definitely one of my favorites.

This gorgeous bouquet was perfect for the outdoor wedding at the National Arboretum. Local dahlias, loose greenery and textural elements were fabulous, but the unique color scheme really made this one stand out. Photography by Lisa Blume Photography

Corporate events that rocked our world - Part 1

B Floral has been so fortunate to do some pretty amazing events in our beautiful city of Washington, DC.  I love everyone of these designs and the venues they were designed for.

Gold candelabras, overflowing flowers on the table and hanging from above added so much drama to an already dramatic setting.  It's not everyday an event is held on the The Warner Theater stage.  This venue is so opulent, unique and dramatic that we had to design the flowers on that level.  The planner for this event chose such gorgeous linens, place settings and rentals and allowed us to go wild with the flowers.  This will forever be one of my all time personal favorites.  Photo above and below by Erin Scott Photography  Catering by Design Cuisine, rentals by DC Rental

Did you know that The National Cathedral rents out various spaces for events?  Make sure you get a fabulous lighting company like Atmosphere Lighting (shown above) to showcase the architecture.  This event had a Spanish theme so we naturally used sangria pitchers made in Spain for vases.  Photo by Erin Scott Photography

The Natural History Museum is one I frequent often.  We have taken our kids, friends and visiting relatives too many times to count and it was so fun to see our designs set up around the iconic African elephant.  Photo above and below by David Keith Photography

This set up was gorgeous with a perfect plum linen, gold accents and the flowers bringing in the dusty hues of blue, green and lavender.  Catering and rentals by Occasions Caterers

The view of the capital is amazing, but the view inside of the Library of Congress is so jaw dropping you just can't believe your eyes.  These out of town clients were lucky enough to dine in The Great Hall of the Thomas Jefferson Building.  Once again the table set up was perfection.  A warm terra cotta and gold with the pops of color coming from the flowers.  Photo above and below by David Keith Photography Catering and rentals by Occasions Caterers
