Beautiful Wedding at the Park Hyatt Washington, DC

This lovely ballroom wedding took place at the Park Hyatt in Washington, DC and was captured perfectly by the talented Wolfcrest Photography. The bride, being from California, had a love for the more natural, organic and slightly rustic style floral designs. The challenge was to mix that style with the formality of a DC ballroom setting. We did that by using our dark wood chuppah with clean lines, which stood out beautifully against the white draping of the ballroom. We mixed loose greenery with lush florals including garden roses and peony accenting with dusty miller and brunia berries for a touch of rustic. The accents of anemone with that dramatic dark center brought it all together for a perfect mix of elegant and natural. We loved working with this couple and are so grateful for these images by Wolfcrest and for the incredible team at the Park Hyatt.

Pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins

Fall is in the air and I thought it only fitting to post one of my all time favorite weddings.  The bride wanted pumpkins.  Not just any orange pumpkin, but a variety of white, gray and peach.  We scoured the farmers markets, Virginia farms, and even Whole Foods to find the perfect selection of heirloom pumpkins for this wedding.  The wedding took place in The Ronald Reagan Building a few years ago.  The incredible images are by Procopio Photography.

Summer wedding at Morais Vinyard

This beautiful summer vineyard wedding was planned and designed by Tabitha Roberts of Roberts and Co. and took place at Morais Vineyard in Virginia.  B Floral had the pleasure of providing the flowers.  The bride had one request, include sunflowers in the designs.  The challenge was then to mix elegant flowers with more casual summer flowers, such as the sunflower.  The designs came together beautifully and was selected by Style Me Pretty Editors' as one of the "Best of 2015".

Read more about this wedding and see more images by the very talented Joey Kennedy of Joey Kennedy Photography in the latest edition of Washingtonian Bride and Groom magazine.  On news stands now through fall 2016.

Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
